SAMPLE MENU FOR PANCREATIC PANCREATITIS

Pancreatitis is a very common disease. A distinguishing feature of this disease is the acute pain in the stomach area, as well as the violation of the quality of the pancreas.

For the treatment of this disease, a special (therapeutic) diet was developed. It contains only a specially selected menu and permitted foods. They will not cause any harm to the affected organism. How is a sample menu for a week?

1. Diet for chronic gland inflammation

Pancreas

With a disease such as pancreatitis, a moderate diet is prescribed, which completely excludes the use of alcoholic beverages, sweets, fatty and fried foods, as well as foods containing thick fibers, simple and extractive carbohydrates. Nutritionists recommend eating food up to 6 times a day, portion sizes should be small so that it is better absorbed and does not overload the pancreas.

Food must be steamed, boiled or stewed; in rare cases, they can be baked. Before using it, it must be cooled to a temperature of 30 degrees. In this way, you can avoid stomach irritation.

The diet salt should be used in a minimal amount and, if possible, exclude it completely until the organ's functioning returns to normal. Fish, meat and dairy products are used as main products. The energy value of the menu per day must under no circumstances exceed 1800 kcal.

It is better to give preference to liquid or semi-liquid foods, such as soups, mashed potatoes, cereals, etc. A strict diet for pancreatic diseases should be followed for about 3 weeks after the attack is stopped. After that, the menu can expand constantly until you return to your usual diet.

When dieting, it is allowed to eat cereals, vegetable soups, cooked / fresh vegetables, dry bread, meat, boiled eggs, poultry and fish (only low-fat varieties are allowed), dairy products, fruits and fruits notacidic products, creamy / vegetable flour oils, natural jams, natural juices and jams.

In addition, canned foods, strong broths, fast food, smoked / spicy foods, bread rolls, cocoa, sour berries and fruits, marinades, coffee, pies, boiled eggs in the form of fried or boiled eggs, fatty meats, fish.
